I have tagged you again! Since I tag you for pretty much everything (sorry), you can ignore this if I have…I dunno…exhausted your book tagging needs or something. It’s called the pastry book tag, and here’s the link to the post: https://writingonavintagetypewriter.wordpress.com/2015/07/20/in-which-i-create-the-pastry-book-tag/

Oh no, I love doing book tags! Book reviews are always awkward for me, so book tags are perfect for me. And you made this one? You totally go girl. I am so doing this tag. And I mean, if you want to stop tagging I guess I’ll be… ;-; I’d be heartbroken and feel partly betrayed, but I’d be alright. Just kidding! (kind of)

Well, I’ll keep that in mind and keep throwing these tags at you then.

So, I can’t figure out if there’s some sort of Contact Me form anywhere, but I guess commenting works well, too. Shockingly, this isn’t about tagging you for something. Basically, I’m trying to put together something where various book bloggers talk about their bookish and bloggish hopes for this next year, and I was wondering if you’d like to be apart of it. I won’t actually be posting it until late November/early December, but I’m getting on it now ’cause I’d just keep putting it off and putting it off and putting it off until it’s too late.
Anyways.

I’ve tried to reply to this like three times but it keeps.not.letting. me. But anyways, I’m contacting various book bloggers to put together a master post. Everyone just answers three questions: What not-yet-released books (YA or otherwise) are you looking forward to this next year, what are you wanting/planning on doing on your blog next year (more reviews, more author interviews, ect.), and what books (already released) you haven’t got the time to read this year but want to next year.
I need the answers by November first, but that’s about it. If you need any more information, you can contact me through my email: thebakingowl@gmail.com.

1.) I am so looking forward to The Rose Society by Marie Lu. I just finished The Young Elites about two months ago and now I need this book! I have so many questions that NEED to be answered and I absolutely adore Marie Lu’s writing style. She writes so smoothly and fluidly that I become absolutely captivated by her words and can hardly ever put her books down. I’m pretty sure I stayed up multiple nights until one am reading that book, seeing as I’d never have time during the day to read it from all the other books I was reading and everything else that’s always going on in my busy and chaotic life.
2.) I really want to catch up on all the tags and awards that I’ve been nominated for when I went on my mini-hiatus and I want to work on writing my book reviews.
3.) I NEED to read The Copper Gauntlet by Cassandra Clare and Holly Black. My friend has offered for me to borrow it tons of times and I just never find the time- and it totally sucks chicken feet!! 😡 I also surrealistically want to read An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir which was recommended to me first last school year by my librarian (I should have just read it right then and there when I had the chance).
