Love In Ten Lines

The Explanation:

This time, it is not a regular award nomination where I answer questions. No, instead I have been chosen for a poem nomination. So anyways, as always, I have had one of the most fabulous and most magnificent bloggers in the world have nominated me for this most interesting award/nomination.

So go follow her @ Tea With Ellie.

The Rules:

1) Write about love using only 10 lines.
2) Use “love” in each line.
3) Each line can only be 4 words long.
4) Nominate others who are up for the challenge.
5) Let them know about the challenge.
6) Title the post, Love in Ten Lines.
7) Include a quote about love.
8) Tag the post ‘ten’.

The Poem (first attempt before realizing that I have to have the word ‘love’ in each line):

“Put on your coat,

It’s really cold outside.

“Please buckle your seatbelt,

The roads aren’t safe.

“Now close the door,

You’ll catch a cold.

“I’m worried for you,

You aren’t acting yourself.”

I smile and say,

“I love you too.”

The Poem (second attempt):

Love is with you,

Love is with me,

Forget past demons, love,

Love is with us.

Fire can’t compare love,

Storms don’t touch love.

It’s love with windows

Down, love so vulnerable.

Love hits, strikes, blows

my wanderlust mind- love.

The Quote:

“I wanna scream ‘I love you’ from the top of my lungs

But I’m afraid that someone else will hear me.” – Fall Out Boy

The Nominations:

Alright so I’m really tired right now and kind of angry, so I just nominate all of you! Anyone who reads; if you are up for it then do it. If not, I applaud you for being honest with yourself. Do not feel forced. I DO NOT FORCE THINGS UPON PEOPLE IF THEY FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE.

So Thanks for reading.

Best of luck,

The Time Traveling Writer.
